Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. Launch All-Day Beyond Meat Menu

Plant-based fast food options are expanding, thanks to Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. It was just announced that the restaurants will be launching the All-Day Beyond Meat Menu, including options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The franchises have been testing these options at various locations around the United States and have narrowed it down to a few dishes.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait for Carl’s Jr.’s selection of Beyond Meat menu items. Today, the fast food chain started offering the Beyond Sausage Burrito and the Beyond Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit, in addition to its other plant-based options that were already on the menu, the Beyond Famous Star burger and the Beyond BBQ Cheeseburger. According to a press release, more than 6.7 million Beyond Famous Star® burgers have been sold!

Hardee’s will release the following All-Day Beyond Meat Menu items on December, 30, 2019:

  • Beyond Sausage Burrito
  • Beyond Sausage Biscuit
  • Beyond Sausage & Egg Biscuit
  • Original Beyond Thickburger

Hardee’s began testing the Beyond Thickburger and Beyond Breakfast Sausage Biscuit in October of this year. Each Beyond menu item at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are made with unique recipes, whereas some restaurants offering plant-based options offer general menu items sold at other franchises, as well.

So, what makes Beyond Meat so special? Each Beyond Meat menu item is entirely vegan and plant-based. They are overall healthier than regular meat, containing more protein and iron, as well as less fat, according to the Carl’s Jr. website. The protein tastes and looks a heck of a lot like beef, but that is only because of beets. You can even add a Beyond Meat sausage patty or burger patty to other menu items.

Beyond products will be sold at participating Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. locations.
