Taco Bell is taking its talents to the grocery store. The fast-food franchise recently announced a new snack item is hitting the shelves of a few major retailers. Taco Bell’s Cheddar Crisps are cheese-flavored chips that are now available at select 7-Eleven and Kroger locations around the country, as well as Amazon in the near future.
Packing the same famous flavors Taco Bell is known for into a light, healthier alternative, Cheddar Crisps are available in a variety of flavors, including Nacho, Mild Sauce, and Fire Sauce. The crisps are made with 100% real cheese and are gluten-free, keto-friendly, and vegetarian. They also are free of artificial flavors and colors. Customers can purchase the crisps in two sizes, a small, personal pack and a larger full-sized bag.
“Cheddar Crisps are the next evolution to give our fans a new way to satisfy their Taco Bell cravings,” Taco Bell’s Senior Director of Brand Marketing, Taylor Montgomery said in a press release. “Our ability to package up the bold Taco Bell flavors fans love into these new crisps is our distinct advantage when it comes to entering this new crisps category.”
You can find other Taco Bell products in stores, like Doritos Locos Taco shells, hot sauce, and beef seasoning. In fact, the Cheddar Crisps were created after the company saw the success of their tortilla chips, which are sold at participating Kroger, Walmart, and CVS locations. Tortilla chip flavors include Fire, Mild, Classic, Diablo, and Reaper Ranch.
